In a surprising crossover event that breaks conventional forecasts, Ubisoft has announced an digital partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising holiday event operates from November 25 through December 22, offering no-cost bonus story content for Shadows players.

Mysterious Mission Uncovered

According to the official announcement, "An unusual meeting draws protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a original mission, where rumors of prohibited practices and terrifying transformations echo through the shadows." The narrative features a "strangely garbed woman named Ada" who tasks the characters with journeying into the Crystal Cave—a important location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her friend from a clandestine cult.

The mission concentrates on "peculiar tests and a monstrous foe" and is open to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.

Iconic Locations and Transformations

The preview features the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This important location was previously where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The teaser concludes with a dramatic moment showing a character, presumably the captive, morphing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.

Exclusive Rewards and Extra Features

Players who accomplish the quest will obtain an unique katana alongside several artifacts concealed throughout the area in secret chests. The update also features in-store Attack on Titan item packs, including:
